I figure GR3 is supposed to work in Artist or else why give it right? If I am wrong please advise. I have Win 7 64-bit. I installed 32-bit and 64-bit S1 Artist in the right places. Put 32-bit Guitar Rig 3.dll in vstplug ins folder . cannot find gr3le.vst or any files with .vst as the extension. I am sure there is a Doh in here for me, but where are they? BTW I did launch GR3 standalone once which was suggested in a post. Anyway GR3 not showing up in S1 Artist effects. Thanks guys.

VST3 plugins are store in the specific VST3 location and need not be moved or altered. Make sure you update GR 3 LE through the NI Service Center to get the 64-bit version as that wasn't available until a later version. Another thing to check is if you are actually using the 32-bit plugin in the 32-bit version of S1 and the 64-bit version with the 64-bit version of S1. As to the specific install location, I think you should be able to create a VSTPlugins folder in the S1 user data location, or in c:program files (x86) (for 32-bit) and c:program files (for 64-bit).

I have Windows 7 that work on 64-bit system but Guitar Rig 3 LE doesn't work with Studio One artist 32-bit. Let me be a bit more descriptive tho: Once you have installed Guitar Rig 3, Navigate to your install directory. Mine was: C:Program Files (x86)Native InstrumentsGuitar Rig 3. (This is for a 32-bit installation) Once there, open up the VSTPlugins 32 bit folder. Now, Copy the Guitar Rig 3.dll file. Now navigate to your studio one install directory, mine was: C:Program Files (x86)PreSonusStudio One - In here create a new folder called 'vstplugins' - paste your Guitar Rig 3.dll file Restart your studio one. Create a new song, go to your effects tab, and boom! a new 'Native Instruments' folder should be there, with your guitar rig vst. I'm going to go ahead and say that there was very little documentation on how to get this working. Dissapointed realy. Hope this helps you all because the Guitar Rig Plugin is awsome! haha

GR 4 LE is a different product all together.

Did you install all the software in its default location? Have you updated to the latest versions of both the programs, did you register with the NI Service Center. Simply telling us that it doesn't work isn't providing much information to go on.

This might be a limitation in the Guitar Rig LE software.

mikeguitarman Prenoob Joined: 22/04/2014 08:38:08 Messages: 13 Location: Milton Keynes UK Offline	Hi Everyone Im new to these forums I think this is where I need to be to ask this question . . . here goes I recently upgraded to S1 pro guitar rig 4 comes with it now my problem lies in getting it to work I click on effects and its all there only I keep getting a dialogue box saying demo buy or activate I click on activate and its asking for a serial id number I have no idea where to look for this can anyone advise me also whilst im here . .at the bottom of my S1 panel near the performance tab im getting a number that says I have 7: 20 days left to record I have no idea what this means my version of artist didn't display this can someone enlighten me please thanks in advance Mike

But I think if you go to your user account on presonus.com, there are all the serial numbers that come with your version of Studio One. There should be one for Guitar Rig as well if I remember correctly. The other thing is just an indication of how long you will be able to record based on the space of your hard drive. Not a particularly useful feature IMO, but it can't hurt I guess.
